Swap Meet Outreach 7/26/13

So, you won't believe it but we finally made it out to the local swap meet to hand out "The Biggest Question" . Not to many showed but the Lord was so faithful to reach so many. I am so thankful for the opportunity to pass these DVD's out and so many were intrigued that we would give them away for free while we were at a place that others were selling stuff (swap meet)... lol. 

We had so many one on one conversations with people along with getting some attention from a family of JW's and afterwards got heckled by an atheist and a Mormon separately.

We were there for just over 2 hours as it was very stormy that day but praise God we are planned to head out again on August 9th! There were a lot of people mocking us walking by saying we were wasting our time and the biggest question didn't matter.

Interesting, a lot of people said they knew the answer of where they were going but once challenged on where that was, they hesitated. It was like they were bold to claim they knew but once asked where it was they lacked the security. Praise God that opened the door to so many conversations and the opportunity for them to hear the truth!

We walked the whole swap meet after the outreach and amazingly we only found 3 DVD's total. 2 were found on the ground (1 of those was brutally messed up like someone took some aggression out on it) and the 3rd we found in a garbage. We also only found 5 gospel tracts on the ground so it was a great recovery.

Alot of the people said they were interested in watching it right when they got home because Kirk Cameron was on it and you know everybody loves Kirk (lol).

We weren't able to find anyone that had watched it but funny story was a couple that goes to a local church came up to us and knew exactly what it was and are subscribers to www.wretchedradio.com so they stopped and encouraged us and were so thankful to see us handing them out.

So grand total we got rid of just under 600 DVD's and equal amount of Gospel tracts. It was a good start and we are excited to get back out there in just a couple weeks to hand out more! Praise Jesus, He gets all the glory!!!
